Project enquiries

The form asks for your name, email address and project message. You can also provide a telephone number, project type and town or postcode. These details help us respond and discuss the work you are considering. The enquiry also includes the website page it was sent from, so we can understand which service or area you were looking at. Please only send information relevant to your enquiry.

Enquiries submitted through the form are processed by Formspree and delivered to ONYX. Formspree also processes technical information for delivery and spam prevention, and may store submissions according to the account settings. See Formspree’s privacy policy for information about its processing and international transfers.

If you email photographs or plans, they become part of your correspondence with ONYX. Your email provider and the business email service process that correspondence. You can ask us about an enquiry, request a correction or ask for deletion using the contact details above.

Tile planning guide requests

If you request the tile planning guide, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your first name. The request also records the guide version and the page it came from. The PDF is available to download on the website after a successful request. If you separately ask us to contact you about a tiling project, we record that choice and any project town or postcode you provide so we can respond by email. Guide requests use Formspree in the same way as project enquiries. Requesting the guide does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

The optional checklist on the download page works only while that page is open. Its selections are not sent to ONYX or stored in your browser.

Why the information is used

Information you provide about a proposed job is used to discuss the project and take steps you request before entering a contract. Other correspondence is used to answer your question and manage the conversation. This form does not subscribe you to marketing.

Hosting and cookies

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical information, such as an IP address and request details, to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for more information.

We have not added advertising, visitor analytics, embedded social feeds or marketing cookies to this website. Fonts and project photographs are served with the site.

Keeping your information

The static website itself has no customer database. Sent enquiries form part of ONYX’s business correspondence. Contact us if you would like to know what enquiry information is held about you or to request that it is removed. Information that must be kept for an active project, legal obligation or dispute may need to be retained.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, and to receive a portable copy. Contact ONYX first so we can help. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
